GDPR-compliant terms notice — customize before production launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating a Geopathra account you accept these terms and the linked privacy notice.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent.
• Accounts are personal; you may not share credentials.

3. Acceptable use

• No harassment, spam, or hate speech in in-game messages.
• No automation (bots, GPS spoofing) that circumvents intended gameplay.
• Do not attempt to extract user data outside of your own GDPR export.

4. Intellectual property

• The server code is owned by aceArt GmbH.
• Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL 1.0. See GET /api/v1/attribution.
• Game content (pets, avatars, sprites) belongs to aceArt GmbH.

5. Termination

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time via DELETE /api/v1/me/gdpr/delete.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty. Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence as permitted by German law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law. Venue: Hamburg, Germany.
